And here is ranking leaderboard: https://slicewin.com/clubs/cambridge-weekly-open/ranking?activity=Table+Tennis&format=singles
In group 1, Ferenc Horvath was in top form, winning 3-0, 3-0, 3-0. He was pushed to 11-9 in a couple of games by the excellent defence of Graeme Davies, but was ultimately too strong. Ferenc sits top of the leaderboard and it will take some effort to knock him off top spot!
Group 2 was fiercely competitive with 3 of the 6 matches going finishing 3-2. Shahzad Ahmed and Carlos Coutinho both won two matches, but it was Shahzad who finished on top with a better games won/lost ratio.
In group 3, TK leaung dominated, winning all three matches and only dropping one game. This gave TK a 100+ rating boost, moving him to 9th place in the overall leaderboard.
In group 4, Logan Millar was in sensational form. He won four matches, without dropping a game. The junior player will be one to watch in future tournmants as he works his way up the rankings. I’m sure it won’t be long until he is playing in the top group!
And group 5 was also another very competitive group. There was lots of tactical play and close games. Elena Zhelezina played very well to win her four matches and finish in 1st place, with Jenny Macmillan in 2nd place with 3 wins.
